Description

On the light side cooking course. Wow your tastebuds!  Come and learn how to make some fabulous light meals on our four week course.   We’ll be making dishes such as:
Roast brinjal bake, stuffed brinjal in an Italian tomato sauce
Spicy Whole baked cauliflower
Roast Beef or Ostrich fillet with a rocket pesto
Seasonal roasted vegetables. Other dishes will complete the tantalising mornings of cooking.

Experience the wonderful flavours and delightful aromas of light cooking all in a fun environment.  

The on the light side cooking course is a celebration of light meals that you may have eaten but wouldn’t know how to replicate them.  You’ll learn just how simple it is to make your own authentic food. Best of all, you get to try them!

This is a fun class whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner.  We’ll also be giving you tips and tricks to make your cooking life easier.

Our 4 week course consists of the following:
Week One
Broccoli, strawberry and red onion salad with a honey and whole grain mustard
Roast butternut and barley salad
Thai chicken salad wraps

Week Two
Roast brinjal and chickpea salad
Bulgar wheat salad
Ostrich steak with red onion marmalade
Simple steamed vegetables

Week Three
Thai slaw with spicy red pepper dressing
Bean, spinach and roast baby beetroot salad
Basil paprika chicken fillets with bean pate and basil pesto
Roasted vegetables

Week Four
Vegetable stir fry
Kingklip with pickled peppers
Nutty herb trout fillets
Cauliflower rice
