Description

Cooking Passport to Paradise. Wow your tastebuds!  Come and learn how to make some fabulous meals associated with different countries on our four week course.   We’ll be making dishes such as:
Coq au vin, spring rolls, beef wellington and chicken and roast vegetable lasagne.

Experience the wonderful flavours and delightful aromas of light cooking all in a fun environment.  

Earn your cooking passport to paradise by cooking the foods of a number of different countries.  Its a celebration of meals that you may have eaten but wouldn’t know how to replicate them.  You’ll learn just how simple it is to make your own authentic food. Best of all, you get to try them!

This is a fun class whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner.  We’ll also be giving you tips and tricks to make your cooking life easier.

Passport to Paradise

Our 4 week course consists of the following:
Week One – French
Baked camembert with apple and almonds
Coq au vin
Green beans wrapped in bacon
Boulangerie potatoes

Week Two – Thai
Spring Rolls with a dipping sauce
Choose One
Green Chicken Curry
Satay Chicken. with crunchy peanut sauce
Sweet and sour pork
Sizzling beef
Sides:
Egg Fried Rice or Pad Thai
Dessert:
Sticky Rice with Mango or Deep Fried Bananas (with ice cream)
 Week Three – African
Mushroom and sherry soup with cheese straws
Beef wellington
Bearnaise sauce
Hassel back potatoes
Seasonal veggies
Lemon pots with raspberries

Week Four – Italian
Bruschetta – these are traditional Lightly toasted ciabatta bread with a variety of the following toppings – Wild Mushroom, Marinade Eggplant,Red Pepper
Or
Melanzane parmigiano (baked with cheese & Italian sauce)

Choose one
Spaghetti Puttcanesa
Fettuccine Alfredo
Chicken and roast vegetable lasagna
Brinjal rolls in an Italian Sauce

You will be making your own pasta
